1. High wear resistance: UHMW-PE has the best wear resistance among all the current engineering plastics and is the most eye-catching. Selecting UHMW-PE as the friction part of the equipment can not only improve the wear-resisting life, but also save energy.

4. Impact resistance: The impact resistance ranks first in plastics. Whether it is a strong external impact or internal pressure fluctuations, it is difficult to make it crack. Its impact strength is 10 times that of nylon 66, 20 times that of polyvinyl chloride, and 8 times that of PTFE; the impact strength is about 2 times that of impact-resistant PC, 5 times that of ABS, and more than 10 times that of POM and PBTP. Especially in the low temperature environment, its impact strength reaches the highest value, and its flexibility can provide a very safe and reliable guarantee for the conveying system.

5. Anti-aging properties: stable performance, good anti-aging properties, can be buried on the ground or underground, and will not age for 50 years. Measured according to ASTM method (load 4.6㎏/cm2), the heat distortion temperature is 85℃, and the service temperature can reach 90℃. In special cases, it is allowed to use at higher temperature. UHMW-PE is a material with excellent toughness, and its low temperature resistance is also very good. It still has a certain ductility at a low temperature of -269 °C, and there is no sign of embrittlement. However, the coefficient of linear expansion is large and the thermal conductivity is very poor, so full attention should be paid when designing products.

6. Electrical properties: large volume resistance, breakdown voltage of 50KV/mm, and dielectric constant of 2.3. In a wide temperature and frequency range, it is suitable for use as a structural material in electrical engineering.

7. Hygienic and non-toxic: UHMW-PE is tasteless, non-toxic, odorless, non-corrosive, and has physiological inertia and physiological adaptability. It is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) for use in contact with food and drugs

8. When the molecular weight of the polymer polyethylene liner exceeds 1.5 million, the embrittlement temperature will drop to -140℃. Even under the action of liquid nitrogen, the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene can be used at a temperature below -269 °C, and still has a certain mechanical strength.
